Role Description
Full-time remote role responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing software releases across multiple teams and environments.
The role aligns release activities with broader program objectives and communicates status and impact to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage release schedules and ensure all components are properly integrated.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to support smooth deployments.
- Maintain release documentation, track risks and issues, and implement release policies and best practices.
- Monitor release progress, facilitate release-related meetings, and resolve configuration and dependency concerns.
- Continuously improve release processes and align activities with broader program objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong release management skills covering planning, coordination, and execution of software releases.
- Program management abilities and configuration management experience are required.
- Understanding of software development practices and lifecycle processes is required.
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and issue-tracking tools such as Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Jira.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple releases, and meet deadlines remotely.
