- Achieve monthly sales targets in the financial year
- Prospect in targeted segments via phone calls and face to face visits
- Present and sell personal banking products to potential customers
- Conduct micro marketing activities including kiosk and direct marketing
- Handle objections to get customers to buy or transfer payroll
- Ensure end to end customer TAT is met with quality adherence
- Ensure compliance with bank policies on KYC, FATCA, AML, and third party channels
- Record sales activities in Daily Sales Reports and update CRM
- Participate in team activities like morning huddles, training, and coaching
Requirements
- Graduate from any discipline
- 2 years banking sales experience
- Sales profile with confidence, persistence, and verbal/written skills
- Basic knowledge of retail banking products, service policies, and processes

Job Purpose
- Sell entire range of personal banking products to potential retail prospects and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Key Result Areas
- Achieve monthly sales targets in the financial year.
- Prospect in targeted segments that require meeting standards in phone calls and face to face visits.
- Present and sell all personal banking products & services to potential customers in an ethical, structured, and professional manner.
- Conduct micro marketing activities including kiosk and other direct marketing activities.
- Handle objections with a view to getting the customer to buy or company to transfer payroll.
- Ensure end to end customer TAT is met for all applications submitted with quality adherence.
- Ensure strict compliance with the Bank’s policy regarding product, customer KYC, FATCA, AML CTF, and third party channel interactions.
- Record all sales activities in Daily Sales Reports and update CRM for leads and contacts.
- Participate in all team activities like morning huddles, training and coaching, complete mandatory compliance and fraud trainings, Lean & rewards celebrations.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Sales profile that requires confidence, persistence, personality, and verbal/written skills.
- Basic knowledge of products, service policies, and processes of Retail Banking.
- Graduate from any discipline with 2 years banking sales experience.
Operating Environment
- Competitive, dynamic, volatile, and regulated business environment with low entry/exit barriers.
- The job holder operates within well defined business areas and must adhere to the Bank’s Credit Policy Manual.
- Candidate must effectively liaise with superiors and direct reports to achieve business objectives.
- Works in an environment of daily reporting with six days working.
Problem Solving
- Sales require understanding customers’ individual financial circumstances.
- Responsible for assisting staff and customers in achieving their goals and objectives.
Decision Making Authority & Responsibility
- Responsible for honestly assisting the customer in achieving his objectives through courteous and friendly service, accurate promises keeping within service delivery standards.
- Should have complete product & policy information to ensure necessary documents are provided by the customer before submission to ensure smooth TAT.
