About your new role
We are looking for a Solicitor to join the team in Leeds or London. The work would involve advising on Fitness to Practice (GDC/GMC and other Regulatory) Investigations, Inquests, police investigations and Trust disciplinary cases.
The role
We are currently recruiting for a Regulatory Defence Lawyer 3 to 5 years PQE to join our team in either Leeds or London.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Take responsibility for cases with minimal supervision * Achieve set financial and chargeable targets * Assist other lawyers in the team with their work, including supporting lead advisers and the supervision of more junior lawyers * Conduct Advocacy including at pre-inquest review hearings and inquests, where appropriate

About You
You will have previous experience and a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work.
We also require you to have/be:
Essential
Qualified solicitor 3 to 5 years PQE
Advocacy skills
Knowledge in the Healthcare Regulatory field
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work to deadlines and targets
Good communication skills
Excellent collaborative and team working skills
