- Render professional nursing care to patients within the operating theatre
- Implement and deliver age appropriate patient care congruent with mission, vision and values
- Collaborate with nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams on effective patient management
- Liaise with other health care providers for appropriate and timely interventions and discharge planning
- Provide comprehensive clinical handover/report using SBAR principles
- Establish priorities of care, nursing actions and desired outcomes in a timely manner
- Manage clinical and operational activities to ensure optimum clinical care, customer satisfaction and patient safety
- Maintain effective rapport with patients, visitors, physicians, subordinates and other directors
- Promote confidentiality and use complete discretion when discussing information
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide continuous service

- Ability to adapt to varied age specific patient populations
- Demonstrate maturity and accountability for job performance
- Good judgment and analytical ability

Job Overview
