About the Role
NMC Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Department (OPD) in Abu Dhabi. The role involves providing and coordinating patient care, assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with a team of physicians.

- Assess and identify patients' needs and implement medical plans
- Perform systematic patient assessment and collect pertinent data
- Administer medications and monitor for side effects
- Provide wound care management
- Record vital signs and escalate abnormalities
- Prepare patients for medical examination and treatment
- Assist in medical procedures invasive or non invasive
- Facilitate safe patient admission, transfer, and discharge
Requirements
- Registered Nurse qualification
- Experience in OPD or clinical nursing
- Ability to perform systematic patient assessment
- Knowledge of diagnostic tests and laboratory examinations
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, or Neonatal Resuscitation preferred

Job Overview
- Responsible for providing and coordinating patient care, educating patients and the public about health conditions, and providing advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
- Works with a team of physicians and other health care specialists in various settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and identify patients' needs and implement and monitor the patient's medical plan and treatment.
- Perform systematic patient assessment, re assessment and collect pertinent data about the patient’s health or situation.
- Understand and analyse the assessment information and data.
- Determine actual and potential nursing diagnoses, problems, and issues.
- Define the predicted and expected outcomes of the patient’s planned care.
- Create and evaluate patient care plans with the interprofessional team.
- Record vital signs, recognize, address and escalate all abnormalities.
- Maintain and update technical and clinical skills related to nursing practice.
- Employ strategies to promote patients’ health and a safe environment.
- Understand different diagnostic tests and laboratory examinations.
- Perform essential life support as per regulatory requirements (BLS, PALS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation etc.).
- Prepare patients for medical examination and treatment.
