Requirements
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by ACEN or CCNE
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a US state or territory
- English Language Proficiency
- Masters in Nursing Informatics preferred
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science with a nursing degree preferred
- Certification in Informatics or associated specialty preferred

Summary
- Nursing informatics integrates nursing science, computer science, and information science to manage data, information, knowledge, and wisdom in nursing practice.
- This position will travel between Topeka and Leavenworth.
Qualifications
- English Language Proficiency required.
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by ACEN or CCNE.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a US state or territory.
- Grade Determinations based on education and experience levels (Nurse I, II, III).
- Preferred Experience: Masters in Nursing Informatics, Bachelors in Computer Science with nursing degree, Certification in Informatics.
Duties
- Design and use informatics solutions to support nursing and healthcare.
- Incorporate theories from information, systems, and change sciences.
- Integrate ergonomics and human computer interaction principles.
- Determine social, legal, regulatory, and ethical impact of informatics solutions.
- Collaborate with inter professional team to influence care outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement processes and customer service programs.
