Responsibilities
- Prepare clinical and progress notes, coordinate services, and act as liaison between physician and family
- Monitor and record vital signs and report abnormal values to treating physicians
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor intravenous infusions
- Provide nursing care for clients with tracheostomy, gastrostomy, colostomy, and other conditions
- Care for wounds to prevent pressure ulcers
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with valid license
- Experience in homecare nursing
- Ability to work independently in client homes

Key Responsibilities
- Prepares clinical and progress notes, coordinates services, works as liaison between treating physician and other personnel.
- Counsels clients and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
- Monitors and records vital signs and reports abnormal values to treating physicians.
- Administers prescribed medications.
- Monitors intravenous infusions and parenteral therapies.
- Cares for clients with Tracheostomy, gastrostomy, and colostomy.
- Carries out nursing care to clients with Pace maker, peritoneal dialysis, and clients on ventilator.
- Delivers nursing care to clients with hemiplegic, paraplegic, Bells palsy, cerebral palsy, terminally ill, and elderly.
- Cares for newborn, pre and post partum mothers.
- Cares for clients with physically challenged and those needing special care at home or educational facility.
- Delivers simple exercises, helps in ambulation, and accompanies clients to social gatherings, hospitals, etc.
- Cares for wounds to prevent exacerbation of pressure ulcers.
