Requirements
- College or university diploma in a relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, representation or business development, ideally in food or consumer products
- Knowledge of the Gatineau, Ottawa and Eastern Ontario market is an important asset
- Valid driver’s licence and availability to travel frequently within the territory
- Bilingual in French and English (written and verbal)
- Strong skills in sales, business development and account management
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills

About This Role
- Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining sales across the Gatineau, Ottawa and Eastern Ontario territory.
- The incumbent acts as the commercial lead for its territory and is the main representative of St Albert Cheese with clients in the region.
Your Challenges
- Develop sales and ensure growth within the Gatineau, Ottawa and Eastern Ontario territory.
- Maintain and develop strong business relationships with retailers, distributors and foodservice clients.
- Represent St Albert Cheese in the territory and maintain a regular presence with clients.
- Deploy promotional programs and support the company’s commercial initiatives.
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain active monitoring of the market and competition.
- Contribute to achieving sales, distribution and brand visibility objectives across the territory.
- Collaborate with internal teams and merchandisers to ensure excellence in field execution.
What You Have
- College or university diploma in a relevant field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in sales, representation or business development, ideally in the food or consumer products sector.
- Knowledge of the Gatineau, Ottawa and Eastern Ontario market is an important asset.
- Valid driver’s licence and availability to travel frequently within the territory.
- Strong skills in sales, business development and account management.
- Excellent ability to build and maintain lasting business relationships.
- Strong organizational skills, autonomy and discipline in following up on priorities.
- Good understanding of retail, foodservice and distributor networks.
- Analytical ability to interpret sales results and competitor activities.
- Positive leadership, coaching skills and the ability to mobilize a small field team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Customer service and results oriented approach.
