About This Role

  • Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining sales across the Gatineau, Ottawa and Eastern Ontario territory.
  • The incumbent acts as the commercial lead for its territory and is the main representative of St Albert Cheese with clients in the region.

Your Challenges

  • Develop sales and ensure growth within the Gatineau, Ottawa and Eastern Ontario territory.
  • Maintain and develop strong business relationships with retailers, distributors and foodservice clients.
  • Represent St Albert Cheese in the territory and maintain a regular presence with clients.
  • Deploy promotional programs and support the company’s commercial initiatives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and maintain active monitoring of the market and competition.
  • Contribute to achieving sales, distribution and brand visibility objectives across the territory.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and merchandisers to ensure excellence in field execution.

What You Have

  • College or university diploma in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in sales, representation or business development, ideally in the food or consumer products sector.
  • Knowledge of the Gatineau, Ottawa and Eastern Ontario market is an important asset.
  • Valid driver’s licence and availability to travel frequently within the territory.
  • Strong skills in sales, business development and account management.
  • Excellent ability to build and maintain lasting business relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills, autonomy and discipline in following up on priorities.
  • Good understanding of retail, foodservice and distributor networks.
  • Analytical ability to interpret sales results and competitor activities.
  • Positive leadership, coaching skills and the ability to mobilize a small field team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills.
  • Customer service and results oriented approach.
