Responsible for managing and coordinating regionally assigned OSP projects, ensuring the implementation of approved planning concepts, design standards, execution quality, and training requirements across all project activities.
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Manage vendors and contractors responsible for OSP scope delivery within the assigned region.
- Plan and oversee site inspections, quality audits, and supervision activities.
- Ensure regional project plans are properly synchronized, scheduled, aligned, and communicated with HQ.
- Communicate and enforce approved OSP guidelines, standards, and procedures with contractors and vendors.
- Coordinate all site inspections, supervision activities, and field visits jointly with STC local teams.
- Ensure inspection and supervision activities are executed in accordance with approved processes and communicated guidelines.
- Identify and report quality gaps, operational deficiencies, training needs, and areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance, training, and knowledge transfer to STC regional teams in line with the approved training plan.
- Support the Task Force Head in preparing OSP assessment and quality control documentation for all required QC stages.
- Audit and evaluate the performance of OSP contractors and vendors, highlighting non-compliance issues to HQ and STC management.
- Ensure project reports are completed using approved templates and submitted within agreed timelines.
- Collaborate with DQ teams to establish tracking and review mechanisms for project issues, implementation blockers, and corrective actions.
- Conduct regular project review and coordination meetings with OSP vendors and contractors.
- Monitor project execution quality and ensure compliance with approved standards, specifications, and client requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to maintain project schedules, quality standards, and operational objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including at least 4 years in a managerial role handling large-scale telecom projects or operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in OSP deployment management, supervision, and quality assurance for large-scale telecom projects.
- Experience in telecom network planning and design activities.
- Experience in FTTx network deployment will be considered an added advantage.
- PMP certification or an equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple vendors, contractors, and stakeholders across regional operations.
