Role Overview

  • Charterhouse is working with a leading research intensive university recognised globally for excellence in education, innovation, and research.
  • Our client is looking to hire an experienced Regional Manager (Student Recruitment) to support international growth and strengthen engagement across key markets.
  • The Regional Manager will lead student recruitment and market development across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), driving enrolment growth in line with the University's internationalisation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver evidence based recruitment plans, achieving regional enrolment targets.
  • Promote the University's brand through targeted marketing initiatives and strategic engagement across the region.
  • Work closely with schools, universities, education agents, government bodies, sponsors, scholarship providers, regional teams, and other strategic partners.
  • Develop and maintain high value relationships that support international student recruitment.
  • Identify and establish new partnership opportunities, oversee agent performance, support recruitment events and visits, and provide market intelligence.
  • Manage regional budgets, monitor recruitment performance, and provide regular reporting and analysis to support strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with academic and professional services colleagues to align recruitment activities with institutional priorities.

Ideal Candidate

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience in international student recruitment.
  • Proven track record of achieving recruitment targets and delivering effective market strategies.
  • Experience managing educational agents, developing institutional partnerships, engaging key stakeholders, and using market intelligence.
  • Strong communication, presentation, relationship management, and business development skills.
  • Knowledge of international education systems, recruitment trends, visa requirements, and cultural considerations.
  • Organised, results focused, experienced in managing projects, budgets, and recruitment activities.
  • Must be based in Dubai, willing to travel extensively, and able to work flexibly.
  • English proficiency at IELTS Grade 6.5 or equivalent essential; Arabic fluency highly desirable.
