Responsibilities
- Serve as a key resource for all recreational activities on the property
- Provide information to guests about recreational facilities including pools, beach, entertainment area, fitness center, and kids' activity center
- Encourage, recruit, register guests and plan leisure activities
- Promote a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere for guests
- Enforce regulations governing recreational and fitness facilities to ensure safety and well being of guests and members
- Observe activities in the recreational facility and respond appropriately according to local operating procedures in emergency situations
- Provide cashier services when working in facilities that include point of sale transactions
- Assist with group activities and events during private receptions in recreational facilities
- Be aware of situations where guests may not be able to safely participate in an activity and inform supervisor or manager
- Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive
- Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and accessories
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to manager; follow safety training and obtain certifications
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No related work experience required
- No supervisory experience required
- CPR certification
- First aid certification
- Any certification or training required by local and state agencies

Position Overview

Required Qualifications
- CPR certification.
- First aid certification.
- Sports and recreational equipment.
- Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.
