About the Role

Responsibilities
- Review unmatched repayment summaries, determine root cause, and prioritize actions
- Reach out directly to partners and employers to resolve issues, coordinating with Customer Success and Partner Success teams
- Identify patterns across clients and partners and share results with relevant teams
- Own month end recovery reporting, including tracking missing items and contacts
- Contribute estimates and context to support financial close
- Handle simple bank reconciliation on incoming and outgoing accounts
- Prepare monthly summary of aged accounts receivable
- Flag where matching logic is breaking down and work with systems owner to test fixes
Requirements
- 3 5 years of experience in collections, data analysis, accounting, or comparable field
- Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level) including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis
- Strong communication skills
- Comfort working with high volume data where there is ambiguity
- Experience with reconciliation is a plus

About The Role
- Reporting to the Senior Controller, the Recovery Analyst will own the process of tracking down unmatched repayments across employer and partner networks.
- Role involves troubleshooting, direct outreach, and closing the gap where automation stops.
- Works closely with Finance, Customer Success, and Partner Success teams.
Your Impact
- Review unmatched repayment summaries, get to root cause, and decide priorities.
- Reach out directly to partners and employers to resolve issues, keeping teams looped in.
- Identify patterns across clients and partners and share results.
- Own month end recovery reporting, including tracking missing items and contacts.
- Contribute estimates and context to support financial close.
- Handle simple bank reconciliation on incoming and outgoing accounts.
- Prepare monthly summary of aged accounts receivable.
- Flag where matching logic is breaking down and work with systems owner to test fixes.
You Bring
- 3 5 years of experience in collections, data analysis, accounting, or comparable.
- Genuine interest in working with clients and partners, not just data.
- Instinct to keep digging when obvious answers run out.
- Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level) including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Comfort working with high volume data where there is ambiguity.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with reconciliation is a plus.
- Background in fast paced environment like SaaS, fintech, or professional services is a bonus.

Compensation Range
- CAD 65,000 CAD 83,000 per year.
