Role Overview
The Reconciliation Specialist manages account reconciliations, investigates discrepancies, and supports accurate financial reporting.
The role is described as entry-level to mid-level and fully remote in the United Arab Emirates.
Work Arrangement
- The position is full-time and fully remote.
- The work involves collaboration with international teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations.
- Compare financial records and investigate transaction discrepancies.
- Work with Finance, Accounting, Banking Operations, Compliance, Treasury, and Business Operations teams.
- Reconcile bank, customer, vendor, and general ledger balances.
- Resolve outstanding reconciliation items and maintain supporting documentation.
- Prepare reconciliation reports and management updates.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor reconciliation KPIs, reporting accuracy, and transaction trends.
- Assist with audits and compliance documentation requests.
- Improve reconciliation processes and operational efficiency.
- Support cross-functional financial operations projects.
- Promote accuracy and strong financial controls.
