Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join our clinic.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing front desk operations and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls to the appropriate personnel
- Take and relay messages accurately and promptly
- Welcome and assist patients and visitors in a courteous manner
- Schedule and manage patient appointments
- Provide accurate information to patients and handle inquiries (in person and over the phone)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area at all times
- Direct patients to the appropriate departments or service areas
- Open and maintain electronic medical records, ensuring all required patient information is completed
- Obtain and file patient consent forms as required
- Handle administrative requests such as ID processing, supplies coordination, and other assigned tasks
- Prepare and submit incident reports when necessary
- Ensure compliance with healthcare information and cybersecurity standards (e.g., ADHICS)
- Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role (preferably in a healthcare setting)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and customer-service attitude
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a clinic or hospital environment
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient handling procedure
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
