- Welcome and greet guests in a professional, friendly manner
- Handle guest check in and check out efficiently in line with hotel standards
- Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and room allocations
- Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Ensure smooth communication with all departments to meet guest needs
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing with accuracy
- Maintain front desk area in a clean, organized, and presentable condition
- Uphold confidentiality and security of guest information
- Assist non English speaking guests (especially Arabic speakers) to ensure comfort and satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience as a receptionist, preferably in a 4 or 5 star hotel environment
- Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service and problem solving abilities
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio, or similar) and MS Office
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Professional grooming and presentation standards
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
