Receiving Coordinator- 1st Shift

Organize orderly movement of incoming shipments into unloading area

Compare shipping documents to ensure complete information with receiving material and identification to ensure accuracy

Inspect material for transit damage and defects

Compare shipment documents to PO through AS 400 system to assure compliance

Unload material from carrier to receiving area

Perform all incoming inspection (visual, gauge, width, coil measurements, hardness if required, proper banding)

Enter material information into AS 400 receiving system and ensure compliance with PO

Generate inventory tag; confirm accuracy; tag and identify material

Place material into storage and ensure proper, safe storage

Train new employees in all aspects of receiving operation, safety, quality, and productivity

Assist other personnel when needed in storage areas and with material flow

Communicate non-compliance material or problems to supervisor and/or shift lead
