React Native Developer

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain React Native mobile applications.
• Integrate banking capabilities including accounts, onboarding, authentication, transfers, payments, cards, beneficiaries, transactions, and notifications.
• Handle sensitive financial and customer information according to security and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with backend, API, architecture, business analysis, QA, DevOps, security, and support teams.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong professional React Native development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of React.js and React Native architecture.
• Hands-on Redux, Redux Toolkit, or equivalent state-management experience.
• Strong REST API and backend service integration experience.
• Experience with Git, Android and iOS development, automated testing, mobile security, and CI/CD release processes.

Preferred Technical Skills

• React Navigation, React Native Reanimated, and Gesture Handler experience.
• Firebase, push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting experience.
• Biometric authentication, secure storage, deep linking, offline synchronization, or real-time communication experience.
• Knowledge of native Android or iOS development and Kotlin, Java, Swift, or Objective-C.
• Fastlane, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, or API gateway experience is advantageous.

Security and Quality

• Apply secure authentication, authorization, storage, coding, and certificate or public-key pinning practices where required.
• Address vulnerabilities identified through security assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, component, performance, and security tests.
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.

Performance and Production Support

• Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks, crashes, ANRs, memory leaks, and device or operating-system compatibility issues.
• Investigate production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Participate in on-call or incident-management activities when required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software or mobile application development experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on React Native experience with enterprise-grade mobile applications.
• Proven iOS and Android application development experience using React Native.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
