- Safely operate a reach stacker to load, unload, and move shipping containers within a port or terminal environment, adhering strictly to safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-operational inspections of the reach stacker, including checking fluid levels, tires, brakes, and other critical components to ensure equipment functionality and report any discrepancies.
- Accurately position containers, stacking them in designated areas according to specific instructions, ensuring stability and preventing damage to cargo or equipment.
- Maintain precise records of container movements, including container numbers, locations, and any relevant details, using handheld devices or computerized systems.
