How your work would contribute to our organization and the Twin Cities region: Rail Transit Supervisors are an integral part of the organization, overseeing Metro Transit's Light Rail Operations from the Rail Control Center (RCC). They are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Light Rail system through monitoring and directing rail movement from the RCC. Rail Transit Supervisors are also responsible for field supervision of Rail Operations and Facilities including station platforms, station structures, and equipment. Rail Transit Supervisors are expected to follow and enforce all company policies, procedures, rules, and guidelines. NOTE: This posting will create an eight (8) month eligible list for current and future positions. This position will work onsite at the Rail Control Center or will be traveling in the rail operations field. Hours will vary with the requirement to work weekends and holidays. The candidate's permanent residence must be in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
