- Perform all CT imagery procedures in accordance with departmental policies
- Evaluate and assess CT images for quality and completeness
- Operate advanced software on radiological equipment (e.g., bolus tracking, image reconstructions)
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Ensure safe and competent use of radiology equipment
- Comply with infection control and safety procedures

Technical Duties
- Performing all CT imagery procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and protocols.
- Applying detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology to produce images of high diagnostic quality.
- Performing other related radiography (special) procedures as required.
- Evaluating and assessing CT images produced for acceptable quality, appropriateness and completeness.
- Recognizing anatomy and pathology in cross sectional imaging to optimize scan protocols.
- Responsible for the safe and competent use of all radiology equipment.
- Operating advanced software on specialist radiological equipment e.g. bolus tracking, image reconstructions, quantifications and dynamic imaging.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.
- Practices proper entries and records into Hospital Information System.
Qualifications
- The ability to apply technical skills, together with a demonstrable knowledge of and interest in sciences, such as anatomy, physiology and physics.
- Completing and maintaining all regulatory requirements including licensure and certification.
Quality and Safety
- Promoting and maintaining quality in all services and ensure continuous quality improvement measures are in place.
- Complying with all safety and quality control programs and procedures as applicable.
- Complying with applicable precautions for environmental safety, infection control.
- Ensuring that safety procedures and quality assurance tests are maintained within all sections.
- Comply and support clinical audit processes within the service.
