- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physics
- Ability to perform CT and radiography procedures
- Maintain licensure and certification
- Experience in inventory management

Managerial
- Maintaining sufficient inventory of material supplies and equipment for performance of duties
- Reporting shortage of materials to supervisor at earliest convenience, maintaining records for ordering and replenishments
Technical
- Performing all CT imagery procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and protocols
- Performing other related radiography (special) procedures as required
- Evaluating and assessing CT images produced for acceptable quality, appropriateness and completeness
- Recognizing anatomy and pathology in cross sectional imaging to optimize scan protocols
- Responsible for the safe and competent use of all radiology equipment
- Operating advanced software on specialist radiological equipment
- Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
- Providing advice to medical/technical staff on appropriate techniques
- Dealing with patients and clinical staff initial enquiries
- Practicing proper entries and records into Hospital Information System and PACS
Quality and Safety
- Promoting and maintaining quality in all services
- Complying with all safety and quality control programs
- Complying with applicable precautions for environmental safety, infection control
- Ensuring that safety procedures and quality assurance tests are maintained
- Complying and supporting clinical audit processes
- Communicating in a professional and courteous manner with patients, family and other medical personnel
Continuous Education
- Participating in education sessions for department staff
- Participating in department programs/committees and staff meetings
- Participating in orientation and training of new employees
- Maintaining professional knowledge by attending lectures, seminars or online education
- Completing and maintaining all regulatory requirements including licensure and certification
Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems
- Complying with all OSH and infection control policies
- Notifying OSH hazards, incidents, near misses
- Attending applicable OSH/Infection control training programs
- Using appropriate personal protective equipment
- Being familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures
- Complying with waste management procedures
