Role Overview
- Responsible for providing and coordinating patient care, educating patients, and providing advice and emotional support.
- Work with a team of physicians and other healthcare specialists in various settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform systematic patient assessment and re assessment.
- Determine actual and potential nursing diagnoses and issues.
- Create and evaluate patient care plans with the interprofessional team.
- Record vital signs and escalate abnormalities.
- Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
- Administer treatments such as IV fluids or blood products.
- Provide wound care management.
- Assist in medical procedures invasive or non invasive.
- Facilitate safe patient admission, transfer, and discharge.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with relevant experience.
- Proficiency in patient assessment and care planning.
- Ability to administer medications and IV fluids.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS preferred.
