Responsibilities
- Perform all general radiography procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and protocols.
- Apply detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology to produce images of high diagnostic quality.
- Perform other related radiography (special) procedures as required.
- Evaluate images produced for acceptable quality, appropriateness and completeness, and advise other staff when required.
- Forward images for Radiologist for review and reporting.
- Responsible for the safe and competent use of all radiology equipment, patient appliances and aids.
- Report any incidents and equipment faults to senior staff in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment, including restocking supplies and equipment cleaning.
- Provide advice to medical/technical staff on appropriate techniques and imagery interventions.
- Deal with patients and clinical staff initial enquiries and relay to clinical staff where necessary.
- Practice proper entries and records into Hospital Information System and input radiological images onto PACS.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

- Competence in the use of X ray, angiography, fluoroscopy to produce images of organs and body parts.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to produce images of high diagnostic quality.
- Ability to evaluate images for acceptable quality, appropriateness, and completeness.

Job Overview
- Responsible to provide patient care and independently or under supervision perform all general radiography procedures.
- Analyse output for diagnostic evaluation purpose and report to supervisor as needed.
- Fully competent in the use of X ray, angiography, fluoroscopy to produce images of organs and body parts.
