Broadcast live from sports events for the network and for client stations

Contribute story ideas and treatments for all Sky News platforms

Help plan for major sports events

Represent the sports team in daily editorial meetings

Liaise with external clients and partners

Work as part of a shift pattern which includes early mornings, late nights and weekends.

A first-class knowledge of a broad range of sports, the stories at their heart and the personalities involved

Studio operating, recording and editing experience

Ability to identify relevant stories and develop them

A firm grasp of media law and compliance

Flexibility and a commitment to develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
