The Planning Analyst will support operational excellence and strategic insight across Sky's technology portfolio.
The role sits within the Tech Strategy and Business Operations Planning team in the Global Streaming Technology organization.
The position works with Finance, Portfolio Delivery, and Development teams on forecasting, resource tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
What you will do
- Track and manage financial forecasts and actuals across portfolios of work.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, variances, and insights.
- Produce reports and present findings to senior stakeholders, including directors and heads of department.
- Support timesheet tracking and compliance for accurate capacity and demand planning.
- Contribute to capacity and demand initiatives and broader strategic planning efforts.
What you will bring
- Proven analytical experience in planning, forecasting, or business operations within a technology or consulting environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to solve problems effectively.
- Highly organized and able to bring order and structure to the planning environment.
- Willingness to lead by example and go the extra mile when needed.
