About the Role
Vertiv is looking for an R&D Testing Engineer in Abu Dhabi to conduct tests on power electronics products, prepare reports, and ensure lab compliance with standards. Requires a Bachelor's in Power Electronics/Electrical Engineering and 3-4 years of testing experience.

Responsibilities
- Ensure OHSMS requirements as per ISO 45001, EMS as per ISO 14001, and QMS as per ISO 9001 in the lab
- Ensure machines calibration and safety checks in the lab
- Manage machine and tools inventory in the lab
- Ensure 5S in the test lab at all times
- Create and update test plans daily
- Conduct various testing systematically with strict compliance to SOP
- Prepare various test reports with utmost care and accuracy
- Coordinate with production and product testing of new and existing product lines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Power Electronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 3 to 4 years of experience in power electronics products/module testing
- Knowledge in IEC 61439 1&6, UL 857, 60529 standards
- Familiarity with IEC and UL Standards is an advantage

Brief Job Description
- This position will be responsible for ensuring samples, setting up test and conducting the tests and preparing the reports.
Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria
- Ensuring OHSMS requirements as per ISO 45001 in lab (and within company).
- Ensuring EMS requirements as per ISO 14001 in lab (and within company).
- Ensuring QMS requirements as per ISO 9001 in lab (and within company).
- Ensuring machines calibration, safety checks in Lab.
- Machine & Tools inventory management in Lab.
- Ensuring 5S in the Test Lab at all times.
- Prompt feedback and corrections of any deviations.
- Manpower management.
- Document management Proper storage of Soft and Hard copy documents.

- Proactive, Punctual, attitude of ‘getting things done’.
- Knowledge in IEC 61439 1&6, UL 857, 60529 standards.
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in power Electronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in power electronics products/ module testing is required.
Additional/Pref erred Qualifications
- Coordinate with production and product testing of new and existing product line.
- Familiarity to IEC and UL Standards is an advantage.

- To be working hot and humid situation.
