Role Overview
The company is seeking a research-driven Genetic Research Scientist for its growing R&D team.
The role contributes to genetic and genomic research, complex dataset analysis, scientific publications, and clinically relevant insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct peer-reviewed research in genetics, genomics, and related areas.
- Design and contribute to GWAS and related genetic analyses.
- Develop, validate, and apply PRS where appropriate.
- Analyse and interpret genetic and genomic datasets.
- Prepare and publish manuscripts, reports, abstracts, and other scientific materials.
- Conduct literature reviews and collaborate with clinical, scientific, data, and R&D teams.
- Maintain high standards of scientific integrity, research quality, documentation, and data interpretation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, molecular biology, or a closely related field is required.
- A PhD is an advantage.
- At least three years of relevant genetic, genomic, or biomedical research experience is required.
- GWAS and PRS experience is required.
- Candidates must have peer-reviewed publication experience and be able to provide evidence of published research.
- Strong knowledge of genetic research methodologies, statistical genetics, genomic data analysis, scientific writing, and communication is required.
