About the Role
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 2-3 years of post-contract experience to assist in cost control, valuations, variations, contract administration, and final accounts for construction projects.

Responsibilities
- Assist in tracking project costs, commitments, and cash flow against approved budgets
- Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for internal stakeholders
- Review contractor and subcontractor interim payment applications and prepare payment certificates
- Evaluate variations, claims, and change events; prepare variation assessments and recommendations
- Assist with post contract administration of consultant and contractor agreements
- Prepare and agree final accounts with contractors and consultants
- Liaise with site teams, consultants, and contractors to capture changes and progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- 2 3 years of post contract quantity surveying experience on live construction projects
- Experience in real estate development, main contracting, or consultancy environments
- Exposure to residential, commercial, or mixed use developments preferred

Cost Control & Reporting
- Assist in tracking project costs, commitments, and cash flow against approved budgets.
- Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for internal stakeholders.
- Support the identification and reporting of commercial risks and opportunities.
Valuations & Payments
- Assist in reviewing contractor and subcontractor interim payment applications.
- Help prepare payment certificates in line with contract requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of certified and paid amounts.
Variations & Change Management
- Assist in evaluating variations, claims, and change events.
- Support the preparation of variation assessments and recommendations.
- Track approved and pending changes within the cost report.
Contract Administration
- Assist with post contract administration of consultant and contractor agreements.
- Support compliance with contract terms, notices, and commercial procedures.
- Maintain organized commercial records and correspondence.
Final Accounts & Close Out
- Assist in preparing and agreeing final accounts with contractors and consultants.
- Support commercial close out, including reconciliation of costs and documentation.
- Assist with handover of commercial records at project completion.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with site teams, consultants, and contractors to capture changes and progress.
- Support communication between development, construction, and finance teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of post contract quantity surveying experience on live construction projects.
- Experience in real estate development, main contracting, or consultancy environments.
- Exposure to residential, commercial, or mixed use developments preferred.
