- Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for Civil and MEP projects based on drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Conduct quantity take offs using drawings and project documentation
- Analyse tender documents, scope of work, and contract conditions to identify cost risks and opportunities
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
- Prepare and submit tender proposals, cost plans, and commercial submissions within deadlines
- Perform cost control and budget monitoring during project execution
- Evaluate and certify contractor/subcontractor bills, variations, and claims
- Prepare variation orders, cost impact assessments, and change management reports
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, materials, and financial progress
- Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, procurement, and site teams
- Assist in value engineering exercises to optimise cost without compromising quality
- Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards, contract terms, and company policies
Requirements
- Civil or Mechanical Engineering background
- 5 8 years of experience in quantity surveying and estimation
- Experience in UAE construction industry
