Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Quantity Surveyor role based in Dubai.
- The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for interior design and turnkey projects.
- Daily responsibilities include cost planning, cost control, and monitoring project budgets throughout the design and construction phases.
- The role involves producing regular cost reports, supporting tendering and contract negotiations, and coordinating with design, project management, and procurement teams.
- The Quantity Surveyor will help ensure commercial compliance, value for money, and alignment of project costs with client requirements and company standards.
Qualifications
- Strong cost planning and cost management skills, with experience in budgeting and forecasting for construction or interior design projects.
- Proficiency in BOQ preparation and cost control, including measurement, pricing, and managing variations.
- Ability to develop clear cost reporting, including periodic financial updates and final account summaries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional experience in fit out, interior design, or construction projects in the UAE or GCC region.
- Knowledge of local building regulations, contracts, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and Excel skills, with familiarity in quantity surveying or cost estimation software.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with design, technical, and site teams.
- Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
