Role Overview
The Quantity Surveyor will manage complex upstream client and downstream subcontractor final accounts.
The role focuses on commercial claims, contract administration, audit capability, negotiation, and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Manage and close complex client and subcontractor final accounts.
- Review, evaluate, and negotiate Variation Orders, Extension of Time claims, contra-charges, and other commercial claims.
- Audit project-level commercial submissions from a corporate perspective.
- Identify cost leaks and mitigate commercial and legal risks.
- Conduct commercial negotiations and prepare defensive correspondence in English.
Qualifications and Expertise
- Strong main contractor background in the Middle East.
- Proficiency in FIDIC or similar contracts and standard methods of measurement such as CESMM.
- Excellent English commercial negotiation and defensive correspondence skills.
