Model Risk & Ai Analytics Manager
📍 UAE \| Fintech \| Digital Banking
💰 Salary: Up to AED 40,000 per month
A pioneering digital financial services business is seeking a
Model Risk & Ai Analytics Manager
to lead the development and implementation of a robust Model Risk Management Framework within a highly regulated fintech environment.
This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative organisation building next-generation, AI-driven banking solutions focused on ethical and inclusive finance.
The Role
You will take ownership of model governance, validation, and monitoring activities across AI, analytics, and risk models, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and best practice risk management standards.
Working closely with Data Science, Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams, you will play a key role in embedding responsible AI practices while supporting strategic business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Model Risk Management Framework
- Establish model inventory, classification, and governance processes
- Lead model validation, performance monitoring, and periodic reviews
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory expectations
- Prepare model risk reporting for senior stakeholders and regulators
- Define policies, procedures, and escalation frameworks
- Promote ethical and responsible AI governance across the business
Requirements
- Strong experience within Model Risk Management, Model Governance, or Risk Analytics
- Background working within regulated financial services environments
- Understanding of AI/ML model lifecycle and validation methodologies
- Knowledge of UAE banking regulations or similar frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, finance, or risk-related discipline
Desirable
- Islamic finance or digital banking experience
- Exposure to AI explainability and ethical AI practices
- Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or CFA
