KEO Group is hiring a Quality Inspector (Electrical) for a government sector client in Doha, Qatar. The role involves inspecting electrical installations, monitoring contractor activities, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all assigned work meets agreed KPIs and SLAs while proactively coordinating with client teams, contractors, and stakeholders
- Conduct planned and random site inspections of electrical installations and systems to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, local regulations, and relevant international standards
- Inspect electrical works, including power distribution systems, lighting systems, earthing and lightning protection systems, low voltage installations, control panels, cabling works, and associated infrastructure
- Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
- Witness electrical testing and commissioning activities, including cable testing, continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, functional testing, and system performance verification
- Identify non conformances, quality issues, and deviations from project specifications, and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Investigate recurring quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and prepare detailed inspection reports with supporting documentation and photographs
- Record inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records in relevant systems, ensuring timely updates and effective document control
- Provide field based technical support and guidance to contractors and project teams on quality related matters
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and client representatives to resolve quality concerns and promote best practices
- Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements during all inspection activities
- Participate in on call escalation rotas and support colleagues as required to meet business needs
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in electrical quality inspection, construction supervision, or quality assurance within infrastructure, utilities, or building projects
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems in accordance with ISO 9001 standards
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations, including local authority requirements and international standards such as IEC, BS, or equivalent
- Experience reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, test reports, and quality documentation
- Excellent report writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with government clients or large scale infrastructure projects will be advantageous
- Bilingual candidates with proficiency in Arabic and English will be given preference
