Role overview
Rotork is hiring a Quality Engineer in Bath to support quality standards across a global manufacturing organisation.
The role reports to the Quality Manager and operates in a highly engineered, safety-critical environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports from identification through closure and lead structured root cause investigations.
- Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions and analyse quality data and trends.
- Work with production, engineering, supply chain teams, and suppliers to resolve manufacturing and supplier quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement and compliance with quality management systems and industry standards.
Essential experience
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven experience managing NCR and CAPA processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with 8D, 5 Whys, FMEA, and SPC problem-solving tools.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
- Experience collaborating with production, engineering, and supply chain functions.
