Role Overview
Lead the delivery of innovative products from concept through production.
Combine technical expertise, strategic thinking, and people leadership in a high-impact design leadership role.
Work across global teams to champion design practices and execute complex engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary design and engineering team.
- Translate customer requirements and business objectives into design strategies and engineering programmes.
- Oversee concept generation, detailed design, validation, industrialisation, and product launch.
- Ensure products meet critical-to-quality, regulatory, and manufacturing feasibility criteria.
- Drive innovative solutions that enhance customer satisfaction across B2B and B2C markets.
- Manage multiple projects to agreed timelines, budgets, and performance objectives.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Product Management, and Commercial teams.
- Support global product strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
- Champion design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
