Role overview

Quality management

• Develop and maintain the Project Quality Management System in line with project requirements and international standards.
• Lead QA/QC activities and ensure construction complies with drawings, specifications, contracts, codes, and standards.
• Review contractor Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, Method Statements, and quality procedures.
• Coordinate quality engineers, inspectors, laboratory personnel, and specialist consultants.

Inspection and corrective action

• Conduct audits, site inspections, surveillance, material reviews, mock-up reviews, samples reviews, and factory inspections.
• Manage testing and inspection for civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and specialist systems.
• Track Non-Conformance Reports, Site Observation Reports, and Corrective Action Requests through closure.
• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Reporting and handover

• Monitor quality KPIs and prepare reports for project management and clients.
• Coordinate laboratory testing and verify compliance with Saudi, GCC, and international requirements.
• Manage snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning, documentation, and final handover.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to project quality personnel.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• At least 15 years of construction quality management experience and 8 years in a Quality Control Manager or Quality Manager role.
• Experience with major building, hospitality, mixed-use, consultancy, testing, and commissioning projects.
• Strong knowledge of QMS, QA/QC procedures, construction processes, international standards, and Saudi or GCC regulations.
• Excellent report writing, communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is advantageous.

Preferred qualifications

• A master's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or Construction Management is preferred.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Experience in site supervision consultancy projects and prior Saudi Arabia or GCC experience are highly preferred.
