Job Purpose
- The Quality Control Intern supports the team in keeping food products safe and of good quality. They help check supplier and product documents and keep records well organized.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Review and check supplier documents and specifications and support preparation of documents for internal and customer approval.
- Ensure all documents for supplier and product validation are prepared for customer review, properly organized, and tracked clearly.
- Support planning and coordination of laboratory testing based on sampling plans.
- Check lab results (COAs) against specifications, maintain records, and report any abnormal results.
- Review all shipping documents (COAs, inspection reports, invoices, certificates, packing lists) to ensure consistency.
- Support checks to ensure only compliant products are released and shipped.
- Review reported issues (non conformities), assist in corrective actions, and track until closure.
- Maintain proper traceability across shipments, lab results, batches, and inspection records.
- Ensure clear and timely communication with labs, inspectors, suppliers, and internal teams on quality matters.
Education & Certifications
- Minimum a university degree (or equivalent) in a life science is required, preferably in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
Languages
- English is required as the working language
