About the Role
Baraka Development is seeking a QA/QC Engineer for high-rise residential building projects in Abu Dhabi. You will implement the project quality plan, manage inspections, coordinate testing, and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all site inspection requests (WIRs) with the construction team and consultant
- Monitor concrete pouring, structural steel, waterproofing, blockwork, plastering, MEP, aluminum, and specialist finishing packages
- Coordinate material and structural testing activities with approved independent laboratories
- Identify quality variances, issue formal Non Conformance Reports (NCRs), and drive rapid, effective closure with site teams
- Maintain comprehensive quality logs, inspection records, and material compliance documentation
- Ensure all materials are fully approved by the consultant prior to site installation
- Prepare and manage the systematic snagging, de snagging, and final handover quality documentation
Requirements
- 5–8 years of construction QA/QC engineering experience
- Proven track record working on high rise residential building projects
- Advanced knowledge of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), building codes, concrete/waterproofing testing, and standard consultant inspection procedures
- Highly detailed oriented, assertive communication, and structured organization
- Mandatory UAE building construction quality assurance experience

Job Summary
- The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing the project quality plan, ensuring all site works are executed in strict accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and ITPs to achieve zero rework and fast consultant approvals.
Job Responsibilities
