Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant subject is required.
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience is required.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary organization, preferably in the Middle East, is preferred.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and complete the required competency assessment is essential.
- Chartered membership in a relevant professional body is preferred and advantageous.
Technical Requirements
- Experience implementing and maintaining quality management systems to ISO 9001 and ISO 50001 standards is required.
- Extensive knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures is required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel 2010, is required.
Quality and Compliance Responsibilities
- Review annual quality plans submitted by framework contractors and verify compliance with organizational standards.
- Inspect framework contractor activities to verify compliance with contractual quality obligations.
- Review Inspection and Test Plans and monitor their implementation.
- Support internal audits and conduct second-party audits of framework contractors.
- Review contractor QA/QC reports, nonconformities, observations, and inspection records.
- Coordinate resolution of technical queries and concession requests related to nonconformities.
- Conduct rainy-season preparedness audits.
- Perform new asset and project handover inspections.
- Inspect spares and witness critical inspections and testing.
