Responsibilities
- Develop and implement QHSE policies, procedures, and standards for poultry operations
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and Qatar food safety regulations
- Conduct routine inspections and internal audits of poultry facilities
- Investigate product quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Lead accident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
- Develop and deliver safety induction programs and continuous employee training
- Monitor waste management, wastewater disposal, emissions, and environmental risks
- Prepare QHSE reports, KPIs, incident reports, and management presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 4 10 years of experience in QHSE management
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, GMP & food safety systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and training skills
- Ability to manage multi site operations and diverse teams

Key Objectives of the Role

- Ensure accident prevention and industrial safety management
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement QHSE policies, procedures, and standards for poultry operations
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and Qatar food safety regulations
- Monitor poultry production processes to ensure product quality, hygiene, and food safety standards
- Supervise sanitation and cleaning programs across poultry facilities
- Ensure proper temperature control, cold chain monitoring, and product traceability
- Conduct routine inspections and internal audits of poultry farms, processing lines, storage areas, and transportation
- Investigate product quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure compliance with biosecurity measures to prevent contamination and disease risks
- Coordinate microbiological testing and quality control activities
- Provide positive leadership and promote adoption of best practices
- Develop and enforce occupational health & safety policies to prevent workplace accidents and injuries
- Conduct regular risk assessments across farms, poultry facilities, warehouses, workshops, and offices
Safety & Environmental Responsibilities
- Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures for machinery, equipment, chemicals, electrical systems, confined spaces, and lifting operations
- Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and safe working practices
- Promptly alert line and functional management to significant accidents and incidents
- Lead accident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
- Review accident and incident reports, identify trends, and ensure appropriate response to prevent recurrence
- Conduct regular safety inspections and site audits
- Organize emergency response plans, fire drills, evacuation procedures, and first aid readiness
- Ensure all employees, contractors, and visitors comply with safety regulations
- Develop and deliver safety induction programs and continuous employee training
- Promote a proactive safety culture and engage all employees in continuous improvement
- Monitor and report on effectiveness of QHSE Management system and progress against performance standards
- Monitor contractor safety performance and compliance
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with Qatar regulatory authorities and food safety requirements
- Prepare QHSE reports, KPIs, incident reports, and management presentations
- Coordinate external audits, inspections, and certification processes
- Maintain all QHSE documentation, records, permits, and certifications
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- Local Hiring
- Minimum 4 10 years of experience in QHSE management
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, GMP & food safety systems
- Occupational safety standards
