- Develop, implement, and maintain project specific QA/QC plans in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, ASME, API, and ISO requirements
- Oversee quality activities throughout the fabrication and manufacturing lifecycle of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and related equipment
- Supervise and manage QC inspectors, welding inspectors, NDT technicians, and ensure accurate documentation and recordkeeping
- Ensure WPS and PQR are qualified and approved as per applicable codes and client specifications
- Liaise with client representatives, third party inspectors, and internal departments to resolve quality issues
- Conduct and lead internal and external audits, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented
- Ensure all materials, consumables, and fabrication activities adhere to traceability and quality documentation requirements
- Review and approve ITPs, Quality dossiers, and Manufacturing Data Records (MDRs)
- Stay updated with revisions to Aramco standards and ensure timely implementation
- Monitor vendor quality performance and conduct supplier audits where necessary
- Witness inspections, NDT, WPQ test, WPS/PQR, pressure tests
- Review radiographs and HT charts
Requirements
- Experience with Saudi Aramco standards, ASME, API, and ISO requirements
- Knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, SAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW)
- Familiarity with NDT methods (UT, PT, MT, RT)
- Experience with pressure vessels and heat exchangers
- Ability to conduct internal and external audits

Responsibilities

- Oversee quality activities throughout the fabrication and manufacturing lifecycle of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and related equipment.
- Supervise and manage QC inspectors, welding inspectors, NDT technicians, and ensure accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
- Ensure WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and PQR (Procedure Qualification Record) are qualified and approved as per applicable codes and client specifications.
- Liaise with client representatives (e.g., Aramco inspectors), third party inspectors, and internal departments to resolve quality issues and ensure alignment with contractual quality obligations.
- Conduct and lead internal and external audits, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Ensure all materials, consumables, and fabrication activities adhere to traceability and quality documentation requirements.
- Review and approve ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), Quality dossiers, and Manufacturing Data Records (MDRs).
- Stay updated with revisions to Aramco standards and ensure timely implementation.
- Monitor vendor quality performance and conduct supplier audits where necessary.
- Witness inspections / Witness of NDT / WPQ test/ WPS/PQR etc.
- Review radiographs and HT charts
Additional Requirements
- Witness of UT, PT, MT on Weldments/Equipment
- Witness of pressure tests
- Raising Non Conformance Reports, verification of corrective actions and closure of NCRs.
- Internal and external auditing for ISO 9001 audit at the project.
- Familiar with national and international standards like ASME/ANSI, API, AWS, DIN, BS, IS etc.
- Conversant with ASME Sec I, II, VIII, IX, V, B16.5, B31.3, API 598, ASTM, NACE MR0175
- Familiar with different materials like CS, SS, DSS, SDSS, Cast Irons, hard facing Alloys etc.
- Familiar with welding processes SMAW, SAW, GMAW, GTAW and FCAW.
- Witness the Hardness test and PMI test of welds and base materials
- Reviewing all quality documents like ITP, NDE procedures, Surface preparation and Painting procedures as per client.
- Reviewing MTCs and Certificate of Compliance to issue IRN.
- Witnessing all inspection stages as per ITP
