Job Description
The QC Inspector performs product, start-up, rework, label, and material inspections to verify compliance with required specifications.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Perform inline testing for job orders and verify that specifications are met.
- Attend job start-up and approve dispatch of start-up samples for laboratory testing after inspection.
- Complete QC Inspection Reports to document findings and safeguard records.
- Initiate Internal Rejections for out-of-specification products, apply hold tags, move products to quarantine, and submit forms to the QC Team Leader.
- Submit approved Internal Rejection Reports to the concerned Section Head for investigation.
- Apply segregation, caution, waste, or other appropriate tags after rejection finalization.
- Inspect reworked goods to confirm the resulting product is free of defects.
- Collect retention samples to maintain traceability and support future review.
- Verify and stamp product and pallet labels.
- Inspect raw materials and other raw materials according to the Quality Plan and raise rejection reports for nonconforming materials.
Requirements
- Ability to perform inline testing and inspections against required product specifications.
- Ability to complete QC Inspection Reports and maintain inspection records.
- Ability to identify out-of-specification products or materials and initiate rejection documentation.
