Job Purpose
- Primary responsibility is to perform inspections and tests on raw materials, processes and finished products. Responsible for supervising and verifying the work of junior inspectors. Coordinates with Engineers and Supervisors, manages TPI/client inspections, and ensures product release documentation
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure inspection activities follow approved standards, QMS, and client/project requirements.
- Train, guide, and monitor junior Inspectors (I & II).
- Verify inspection work and reports prepared by juniors.
- Be present during TPI/client inspections alongside juniors.
- Perform in process inspections, raw material checks, and process monitoring.
- Conduct non destructive and destructive testing.
- Carry out online/offline inspection of products per ITP.
- Inspect trading materials (gaskets, O rings, etc.).
- Oversee qualification tests (short, medium, long term).
- Prepare QC reports, MRBs, and qualification test records.
- Lead final inspection/release with TPIs and clients.
- Execute ERP system product transfers for released items.
HSE Compliance
- Enforce safety compliance among inspectors.
- Actively participate in QHSE audits and safety initiatives.
Span of Communication
- Internal: QC Engineer, Production, Projects, Delivery, Store & Inter group companies QC/Project department.
- External: Third Party Inspectors
