About the Role
Future Pipe Industries is hiring a QC Inspector II in Doha to perform in-process inspection, testing of pipes and couplers, and non-destructive testing. The role requires experience in manufacturing quality control and adherence to HSE policies.

Responsibilities
- Ensure only approved and QC accepted raw materials are used in manufacturing and maintain traceability
- Monitor production process as per technical Know How documents and Quality Assurance Procedures
- Check and monitor ambient temperature and humidity periodically during manufacturing
- Witness production processes and ensure approved Raw Material Calculation and Machine Set ups are followed
- Inform non conformances immediately to responsible Machine Captains and other employees
- Inspect pipes and couplers as per product drawing and inspection/testing program
- Select QC samples during production as per inspection program and/or project ITPs
- Control and measure refractive index of resin mix to ensure it meets set requirements
- Undertake non destructive tests in accordance with ITP requirements
- Witness routine hydro tests for pipes and couplers
- Undertake destructive tests in accordance with ITP requirements and project commitments
- Prepare daily QC internal reports and project specific documentation (Manufacturing Record Book MRB)

- Ability to interpret product drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with quality assurance procedures and ITPs

In process inspection
- Ensures only approved and QC accepted raw materials are used in the manufacturing process and keeps the traceability for the same
- Ensures that the production process is controlled as stipulated in the technical Know How documents and as per the Quality Assurance Procedures laid down.
- Checks and monitors the ambient temperature and humidity periodically during the manufacturing process.
- Witness the production processes and ensures that the relevant approved Raw Material Calculation and Machine Set ups are followed to meet the project requirements.
- Informs the non conformances immediately to the responsible Machine Captains and other employees in the Production and QC departments as deemed necessary in order to take the appropriate correction / corrective action and to minimize the rejection.
Inspection and testing of Pipes and Couplers
- The jobholder will inspect the pipes and couplers as per the requirements of product drawing following the inspection and testing program.
- Selects QC samples during the production process as per the inspection program and/or project ITPs as applicable.
Control and check of Resin mix
- Responsible for controlling and measuring the refractive index of the resin mix to ensure it meets the set requirements
Non destructive testing
- The jobholder will undertake the non destructive tests in accordance to the ITP requirement so as to ensure conformity to requirements.
- Witness the routine hydro tests for the Pipes and Couplers
Destructive testing
- The jobholder will undertake the destructive tests in accordance to the ITP requirements and project commitments agreed with the Client/consultant.
Preparation of reports
- The jobholder will prepare the daily QC internal reports as well as project specific documentation (Manufacturing Record Book MRB) to be submitted to the Client.

- Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Adherence to Company H & S
- Ensure that he wears the protective equipment as assigned and that all work is undertaken in accordance to the Company H&S policy and Procedures
- Follow all relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions so that personal safety/the safety of others is not jeopardized and a minimum level of product/service quality and environmental impact can be guaranteed.
