Role Overview
QC Engineer responsible for construction quality compliance, QA/QC procedures, inspections, material testing, and quality documentation.
The role reports to the Project Manager or QA Head within the QA/QC construction department.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect construction work and monitor RCC, finishing, and structural activities for quality compliance.
- Conduct material testing, material approvals, cube casting, and test monitoring.
- Maintain quality checklists, inspection reports, QA/QC documentation, and registers.
- Ensure compliance with approved method statements and verify incoming materials.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and the site team.
- Raise NCRs for quality deviations and monitor their closure.
- Assist with internal and external quality audits.
- Monitor subcontractor work quality.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–6 years of experience in residential or commercial construction.
- High-rise building experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, documentation, reporting, material testing, and quality inspection.
- Ability to coordinate with consultants and site teams.
Working Conditions
- Site-based role in Mohali with field and documentation work.
- Work location is in person.
Compensation
- Pay starts from ₹50,000.00 per month.
