Key Responsibilities

  • Interface with customers, the regional Sungrow team, and the Sungrow headquarters team.
  • Take ownership of dispatched customer issues and provide remote first-instance support by phone or other channels.
  • Provide service and customer support during field visits and dispatches.
  • Diagnose technical errors and problems and deliver service solutions.
  • Perform on-site installation, repair, maintenance, testing, upgrades, and rework activities.
  • Coordinate with Project Management during commissioning and site acceptance services.
  • Maintain documentation and work instructions for current and upcoming service contracts.
  • Submit service reports, recommend corrective actions, and respond to customer feedback.
  • Participate in claim management and the RMA process through the company application platform.
  • Take assigned on-call duties, including some weekends and nights.

Education and Experience

  • Electrical engineering degree or education as an Electrical Engineer.
  • At least 2 years of field-service and maintenance experience with UPS, drives, and solar inverters.
  • Four to five years of industry experience with electrical equipment.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving on-site issues involving power electrical systems.
  • Experience in claim handling, solution finding, execution, and customer support in critical situations.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured way in an international environment.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office or comparable software tools.
  • Fair knowledge of MODBUS, TCP, and IEC-104 communication tools.
  • Strong customer orientation, discipline, team spirit, and self-motivation.
  • Desirable knowledge of battery storage equipment, PCS inverters, BMS, PV solar equipment, transformers, medium-voltage switchgear, SCADA communication, or Arabic.

Work Pattern

  • The role involves field visits, on-site project execution, local and regional travel, and extended site deputation.
  • The role includes assigned on-call duties, partly on weekends and nights.
