PR Specialist

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Build and expand relationships with regional media, industry influencers, content creators, and strategic partners.
• Develop media partnerships, speaking opportunities, and PR collaborations across the region.
• Plan and execute integrated PR campaigns for business objectives, product launches, and brand building.
• Write and edit press releases, executive bylines, media pitches, thought leadership, and corporate communications.
• Manage LinkedIn and Instagram content strategies adapted to regional markets and cultural preferences.
• Monitor campaign and social performance and recommend ways to improve engagement, reach, and visibility.
• Monitor media coverage and online sentiment and support issues management and crisis communications.
• Collaborate with regional marketing, product, and business teams on consistent communications.

Requirements

• Native-level English with exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• 3–5 years of experience in public relations, media relations, corporate communications, or related fields.
• Proven ability to pitch and secure media coverage independently.
• Experience managing corporate social media accounts, especially LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills across cultures and stakeholder groups.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly to emerging issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Arabic language proficiency is highly preferred.
• Experience in renewable energy, clean technology, sustainability, or B2B technology is highly preferred.
• Existing media and industry relationships across MENA or Central Asia are a plus.
