Job Purpose
The QA/QC Engineer (Landscaping) ensures the quality and compliance of landscaping projects through QA and QC processes.
The role covers softscape, hardscape, irrigation, and soil preparation while supporting safety, sustainability, defect prevention, and corrective action.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, guidelines, and checklists for landscaping projects.
- Ensure landscaping works comply with project specifications, industry standards, environmental regulations, and client requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and quality audits to maintain project execution standards.
Project Inspection and Quality Control
- Perform on-site inspections and testing of materials, workmanship, and installation processes.
- Monitor plants, trees, turf, pavements, structures, water features, and furniture for proper execution.
- Oversee irrigation installation and functionality for efficiency and design compliance.
Material Testing and Approval
- Review and approve landscaping materials, soil quality, fertilizers, irrigation components, and plant selections.
