Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in QAQC, preferably in utilities and infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and standards
- Experience in leading quality inspections and ISO audits (preferred)
- Ability to review and approve contractors QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and method statements (preferred)
- Proven track record in developing and implementing quality control plans and procedures
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis
- Proficient in monitoring and reporting on quality performance metrics
- Up to date knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Professional certifications in quality management and auditing (preferred)
- MUST HAVE experience working with supervision consultants

Description
- The QAQC Civil Engineer will support and work on projects associated with Stormwater & Drainage, Flood Alleviation, Wastewater Networks and Water distribution networks Pumping Station, Recycling Plant.
- This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration and construction supervising & monitoring.
- The role will be based in Ras Al Khaima.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality standards are met and maintained throughout project lifecycle.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and report on quality performance metrics.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations.
- Lead quality inspections and ISO audits for all projects.
- Review and approve contractors QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and method statements.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure quality standards are met and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address any quality issues.
- Monitor and report on quality performance metrics to management.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional certifications in quality management and auditing are preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in QAQC, preferably in utilities and infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.
- Experience in leading quality inspections and ISO audits (Preferred).
- Ability to review and approve contractors QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and method statements (Preferred).
- Proven track record in developing and implementing quality control plans and procedures.
