Position Overview
The QA Specialist supports corporate-wide engineering and quality mandates and works closely with Engineering and the Quality Assurance Test team.
The role covers project testing, test case documentation, requirements and design reviews, validation plans, test tools, defect management, quality goals, and process improvements.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop and maintain test procedures for new and existing product functionality.
- Conduct integration, validation, system, and regression testing and log defects.
- Analyze test results and defect data, maintain release test records, and create testing tools and equipment.
- Recommend process improvements, report task variances, collaborate across the organization, and produce quality reports.
- Assist other departments with training and support on quality manuals and procedures.
Knowledge and Experience
- One to two years of experience developing and executing test plans in a development environment.
- Experience with all aspects of the development lifecycle.
- Experience working for a commercial diagnostic ultrasound company, as an intern or full-time employee.
- One to two years of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 experience is desirable.
